Explore lush riverside habitat with towering cottonwood trees and abundant wildlife. Start off in the barren badlands, quickly move into tall grass, the trail then takes you under a canopy of beautiful cottonwoods and then tour along the banks of the Red Deer River.
The cool understory is home to most of the park’s 165 species of birds, so bring your binoculars!
