Bassano Pro Rodeo
Experience the thrill, tradition, and community spirit of one of the region’s most exciting summer events at the Bassano Pro Rodeo, riding into action July 3–5, 2026 at the Bassano Rodeo Grounds.
This three-day celebration of western heritage delivers heart-pounding rodeo action, family-friendly fun, and unforgettable entertainment. Kick off the weekend on Friday with slack events in the morning, followed by a full Pro Rodeo performance at 6:00 PM. Saturday brings even more excitement with a free pancake breakfast, the beloved “Salute to the Horse” parade, and another evening of high-energy rodeo competition!
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy lively beer gardens featuring live music performances, special appearances from the Rhinestone Rebel Trick Riders, and the crowd-favourite Wild Ponies event. On Sunday, the spotlight turns to the next generation at the Bassano Junior Rodeo, where young competitors showcase their skills in events like barrel racing, pole bending, breakaway roping, and more.
With free camping included with admission and a welcoming small-town atmosphere, the Bassano Pro Rodeo is the perfect way to celebrate summer in the Brooks Region—where tradition meets excitement and the whole community comes together!
