Brooks Canada Day Celebration
Celebrate Canada Day in vibrant style in Brooks with a full day of family-friendly fun, live entertainment, and community spirit at the JBS Canada Centre on July 1. From the moment festivities kick off at noon, this lively celebration brings together residents and visitors to honour Canada with engaging activities, cultural performances, and unforgettable experiences.
Guests can enjoy a free BBQ lunch (while supplies last), explore interactive attractions like the White Barn Fun Farm, and discover a wide range of indoor and outdoor entertainment—from an Astrodome & Planetarium experience to balloon artists, airbrush tattoos, and crafts. Outside, the excitement continues with emergency service vehicle displays, food trucks, bouncy castles, roving entertainment, yard games, and more.
The mainstage comes alive throughout the afternoon with a dynamic lineup of performances, including the National Anthem, opening ceremonies, live jazz, cultural dances from the Brooks Filipino Community Association and Oromo community, and multiple performances by James Jordan.
The celebration extends beyond the main event with soccer matches at Duke of Sutherland Park (2–7 PM) and World Junior Lacrosse Championship games at Centennial Regional Arena (5 PM and 8 PM)—making Brooks the place to be all day long.
As the sun sets, gather at the new viewing location in JBS Canada Park for a spectacular fireworks show at 11 PM, lighting up the night sky in a grand finale of national pride.
Bring a reusable water bottle—water refill stations are available on site—and get ready for a day packed with community connection, celebration, and Canadian spirit!
