Descend into the basement of the historic Newell Hotel for an experience that’s part haunted hotel, part history tour and part escape room. Guests will make their way through the darkness while uncovering stories surrounding the hotel’s haunted past — including the mysterious disappearance of an indentured manager back in the 1920s.
Over the years, guests have reported hearing music and voices coming from empty rooms and catching unexplained figures out of the corners of their eyes. Now, the Newell Hotel is inviting you downstairs to see what you can discover for yourself.
For guests 18+, enter from 2nd Street through The Banquet Room, where you can enjoy the speakeasy atmosphere before or after your tour. Guests under 18 will enter through the parking lot at the rear of the building.
