Overview
Located in the heart of the Canadian Badlands and downtown in the Village of Duchess, the Duchess Village Suites offers long term rentals as well as shorter stays. Most of the renovated rooms include kitchenettes, single queen or double beds, and come furnished or unfurnished. A wheel chair accessible room is also available.
Conveniences are under a minute’s walk and include the Prairie Cottage Bakeshop, Outback Country Kitchen, Duchess Restaurant, Duchess Hotel lounge, Knotty Korner Hair Design, the Whistle Stop Convenience Store and Alberta Prairie Meats. The Duchess Recreation Centre and the Duchess School are also within walking distance. There is a coin-operated laundry facility located right next door.
Looking for a fun day trip? The UNESCO World Heritage Site, Dinosaur Provincial Park is a short 20-minute drive away and well worth the trip. Other attractions you may want to check out in the area include Kinbrook Island Provincial Park, Rolling Hills Reservoir, Brooks Aqueduct and the Bassano Dam. The closest City Centre is in Brooks, only a 10 minute drive away.
